One thing that we pride ourselves on at La Bella Bash is the taking an idea/thought and reinvent it. A common party theme that you might see for a baby girl is a Garden Theme. It always amazes us how we can make a reoccurring theme new and exciting! Hope you guys enjoy the pictures...

Feb 2011- "... these are few of my favorite things..." 30th Birthday

Good Morning Dolls!

One of our favorite parties are the ones that are made up of trinkets that we find around the house. As you can recall a couple of years back when we did our "Mid-Night in Abudabi" birthday dinner party for our bash babe, Nevi. We decided to give it another try with a more vintage feel for our very own bash babe, Vinelly.

A great way to add a personal touch to any party is by adding a banner. As you can see on the top right corner we have made a personalized banner with memorable photos of the birthday girl from youth till present day. 

  

 Highlighting a specific area, for example the cake table, is a great way to draw the guest attention to a specific area in the room. As you can see on the top left picture, we decided to highlight the cake table by using lighting as well as framed pictures. 

The two top pictures are an overview of the cake and candy buffet tables. 

  One of our favorites, besides the personalized banner are the centerpieces. We rummaged through the house and looked for anything that resembled  vases, as you can see in the picture above in the bottom left amazing centerpieces came out of it. :-)

Marley's Ice Cream Shoppe 1st Birthday

This weekend was a busy one for the Bash Babes ;) and we couldn't feel more accomplished.  We did an ice cream shoppe 1st birthday at Fisher's Cafe in Hasbrook Heights, NJ.  The owner loved the decor so much, that he's keeping the decor up...yeaaaaaaa :) Enjoy the pics

It was a long, but nonetheless very accomplished day for the Bash Babes!!  Marley's parents loved the decor  :)

Oh Baby! Erika's Gender Neutral Baby Shower

This weekend we had another gender neutral baby shower and the mom-to-be wanted bright colors with brown.  This is what we came up with.... all items were hand crafted by la bella bash...enjoy the pics :)

My Lil' Peanut - Claudette's Gender Neutral Baby Shower

This had to be one of the most original events that we have planned thus far.  Lately, mothers-to-be are opting for the element of surprise when it comes to the baby's gender, but they do not want to fall into the typical green and yellow colors...and thank goodness because we are always itching to try something brand*spanking*new* all the time ;)

In this case, Claudette wants to be surprised when it comes to her baby's gender.  We wanted to try something new and all we knew was that she referred to her baby as her "lil peanut" and so we started building the theme! Of course, we would add peanuts somewhere, but instead of teddy's we used cutie patutie grey elephants and well fresh flowers and the modern party must-have pom-poms in bright colors!! We hope she enjoyed it as much as we did :)

The event was held in a Penthouse in Edgewater, New Jersey.  If you know Edgewater, it has one of the most A-M-A-Z-I-N-G views of NYC and the Hudson River.  It was our priveledge to work on a non-typical gender neutral baby shower with an awesome view ;)

The formal dining area was not used asseating, but the buffet was held here. 
We have decorated both ends of this formal dining area with the bright colors of the shower.
